Niraj Karmacharya is formerly an ecosystem builder at Incubator IMT Starter, H2020 Project Coordinator as well as Co-founder of Luxamour, a France based venture. He is Telecommunications Engineer by academic qualification.
Mr. Karmacharya conducted ’10 Weeks Startup Challenge’ between April 6 – June 22 where entrepreneurs converted their business ideas into a business model with a detailed business plan. They went through a journey of startup creation including ideation, modelling of their ideas through Business Model Canvas, detailing legal, financial, marketing and other aspects of their ventures to create a business plan and PowerPoint presentation of their startup.
Bijendra Shah is a purpose-driven and process-oriented professional who has successfully mentored and coached entrepreneurs in launching their new venture or on pivoting their business model for success.
He has a track record of working in a national consulting assignment to enhance productivity and scout opportunities for entrepreneurs and other beneficiaries. Currently, he is working as a Head of Operation at Clock B Business Innovations. He has also been conducting workshops in Soft Skills as a Learning Engagement Coach on behalf of Skill Lab. Overall, his role is mainly focused on facilitating young entrepreneurs.
Mr. Tara is currently a Program Manager at Heifer International. He is one of the co-founders of Daayitwa, an organization that has been promoting youth entrepreneurship through the Rural Enterprise Accelerator Program across Nepal. He has worked as a consultant and entrepreneurship specialist for various startup businesses, social enterprises, and NGOs in the US, East Africa, Europe, and Nepal. He is also a part time lecturer at the King’s College, Nepal. He holds a MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University, Finland, and a BA in Economics from Middlebury College, USA.
Lorina Sthapit is the co-founder of Aji’s Products and host of Aji’s Podcast. Aji’s is a social enterprise that empowers the elderly to live healthy and happy lives by providing a platform to showcase their skills and knowledge.
Lorina has also worked as a development professional for almost a decade with organizations such as Oxfam and IFAD and teaches Post-Graduate Diploma in Women’s Studies at Padma Kanya campus. She holds a degree in MSc. in Gender and Development Studies from the Asian Institute of Technology and is INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Programme Alumni. She is also a professionally trained Kathak dancer and has performed in several national and international events.
Sandeep Shrestha is a sustainability professional bringing 10 years of knowledge in ESG investing, small business development, impact reporting, marketing, and capacity building. He has experiences working in private sectors and non-profits in the USA and Nepal. In the USA, Sandeep developed strategies for a new upscale restaurant in Radisson and expansion of a start-up organic farm for a non-profit in Minneapolis.
In Nepal, he worked as Director of Fair Trade Group Nepal to strengthen and build capacity and market linkages for member organizations. After the 2015 earthquake, Sandeep worked as Program Director of Dolma Foundation to rebuild a remote village and a school in Rasuwa, and a rehabilitation center in Kathmandu. He worked with a local entrepreneur to revamp an ecotourism business. He currently works as ESG and Impact Manager for Dolma Impact Fund and manages sustainability and impact of investments. Sandeep is an avid volunteer and mentors’ young entrepreneurs and NGO’s to scale up their business model.
